If you find yourself in Los Angeles, CA, one must find the time to visit the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). The LACMA opened its doors in 1961 and while the museum itself is young, it was a part of the Los Angeles Museum of History, Science and Art which was established in 1910. Baryn Futa notes this museum as being a classic representation of high art in that it often has reflected moments of deep loves for humanity at its perfection. If you too are fond of this particular establishment, you can thank Howard F. Ahmanson Sr. who made the largest donation of two million dollars to get the project off the ground. Baryn Futa highly recommends visiting if you find yourself in the neighborhood.
